8320R

Last week Mark, his Dad and brother BJ went to watch their new tractor being built in Waterloo. On Saturday it was ready to be picked up at the dealership so we all rode along.
Ethan very excited to see the new tractor.

Church Addition

After many years of praying, planning and preparation our church has finally begun working on a new addition! Our congregation is so excited for this wonderful project! The additional space for classrooms, nurseries, a kitchen and fellowship with truly be a blessing!

Part of the basement hole, dug out late last week.

Mark volunteered to take up the parking lot and dig out the basement with his track hoe.

Our week

Here are a few miscellaneous pictures from the last week or two.
Amelia LOVES to pick flowers, here is a bouquet she picked and arranged all by herself.

As a mothers day present to Mark's mom we helped plant trees around the pond. The kids even got in on the project.

"Uncle Kurt, if you leave your motorcycle in our play area we're going to play with it!" :)

Mark spent part of the week planting beans for our neighbors. I took advantage of him being in the area and sent Anton and Elijah with him to take their naps. There's just something about the hum of a tractor engine that will put a kid to sleep in no time. :)

Ethan had a track meet on Thursday, he ran the 50 meter dash & the 4x50. He did a great job and had lots of fun running!

You're probably thinking "Oh what a good boy doing dishes for his mom." :) Or maybe not if you know Elijah. He was actually "washing" my fresh strawberries for a strawberry tart. Yep, in soap. Good thing I bought two boxes of them. :)

Anton looking cute at 3 months.

Dirtbike Riders

Earlier this week we decided to head to Ottumwa to see if we could trade Mark's old dirtbike for a new one and maybe find one for Ethan. R/J Performance had some new bikes that had been sitting around for a couple years, so they gave us a good price and we came home with both.

Ethan ready to ride!

He does great riding through the yard!

A friendly "race" around the yard.

Amelia decided that she wanted to try to ride as well. Mark's helping her get started since she can't reach the ground yet.

Off she goes! I was surprised how well she did for as small as she is. If you're like me and wondering why she's wearing a heavy winter coat, this is what she said - "Mom if I wipe out my coat will protect me." Safety first I guess. :)
